March

President's Corner
Spring is just around the corner and will be here sooner than you think. Are those Mustangs ready for their first spring run? Mine would be if I could get into the garage and get some ambition. As is the plan for every winter there are lots of small things that you want to accomplish to make the car better. Mine are fixing a small hole in the floor, new tires, as I found that the existing ones are starting to fall apart, and new exhaust system. And last but not least a good cleaning. Events Coordinator Erik May is working hard on this year's calendar and has lots of events planned with more still in the works. The monthly meetings are being held at WCTY/WICH radio station on Cuprak Road in Norwich and have had many members in attendance. Only with all of you can this club do well, and I want to thank all of you for showing interest in your club. The clubs web site is soon to get a new look. Tony Brockwell who manages the web site is working hard to upgrade the existing site. Tony hopes to have it running real soon. The next meeting is to take place at the radio station as usual on March 9th. Everyone is to meet at the Mohegan Fire House at 12:00 so we can check out the site for a possible site for our cruise nights. From there we will go to the radio station and finish the rest of the meeting. Hope to see everyone on the 9th.

From the Vice President
Hello club members. I am writing this note during the height of the blizzard of 2003. Spring is just around the corner? Hard to believe but the spring Mustang season will be here before you know it. The winter club season has been very active, if you have not attended one of the winter meetings I think you would be very surprised to find the meetings to be standing room only. We are very fortunate to have so many members taking an active role in the club, and a whole lot is getting accomplished! OK maybe it's the food drawing everyone to the meeeting. We have to thank Jim Reed, Steve and Kathy Merola and Erik May for spoiling us with pizza, cookies and drinks. If you haven't attended a winter meeting you still have time to join us. Bring your thoughts, ideas and share them with the club. The 2003 season is shaping up to be our best ever and I would like to thank everyone for their valiant efforts. Cheer up, we will all be driving our ponies before you know it. Can you remember what your Mustang actually sounds like? Oh that sound!

Frank Ewing, Vice President

A note from the Treasurer.
Just a reminder. Membership dues are due by April. $20.00 for one Mustang, $10.00 for a second Mustang.

Colleen Miller, Treasurer

Welcome to the Club.
On behalf of the Southeastern Connecticut Mustang Club, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the newest members that have joined us so far this year.

Let's continue to give Mustang owners in the area something to talk about.
